PoP ~ June Thought Prompts and Discussion

The rules are pretty simple:
- This is a safe place for you to share your thoughts and ideas on each day’s prompt.
- Critical thought and poignant questions are encouraged.
- Any behavior that seems aggressive, abusive or attempts to undermine the efforts of other participants will be banned from the conversation and the site.
June’s journey is about taking inspired action!
You’re leaving “The Struggle” behind as you build the foundation of sustainable growth.
Mantra: With grace and ease I trust my Self and surrender to the process that leads me toward my greater purpose.
Clarity Portion of the Month
(Days 1-10, minus weekends)
- In February you learned to let go.
- In March you learned to begin again.
- April taught you about really getting things done and in
- May you discovered how to take care of yourself while you grow.
June is the culmination of those activities. Here you will use your intuition to guide your action. You will practice trusting your instincts. You will create a new way to operate that doesn’t need to include burnout or frustration because as you are guided to recharge ornuture you simply will. As you are guided to act, you wide so swiftly and definitively.
Trust. Surrender. Trust. Surrender.
Day 1 Thought Prompt
In what situations are your instincts the strongest? When are you absolutely certain something is true long before you have proof or specifics?
You know that feeling when you get it. The hairs stand up on the back of your neck that tell you to run or the butterfly frenzy in your belly makes you want to get up and dance. What kind of life experience create the undeniable KNOWING in your mind?
Day 2 Thought Prompt
In what situations are your instincts the most reliable? Yes … this is slightly different than yesterday’s “strongest” question. Have you had some more subtle, yet more predictable intuitive hits?
For example: My biggest intuitive hits come when there is danger around the corner or when there is total bliss. But my most reliable hits come with a slight little “aaaaahhh” feeling that I get multiple times a day…because I’m making decisions multiple times a day. I simply have more data for the day-to-day prognostication.
Day 3 Thought Prompt
When you get the feeling to pull away from a person or activity where do you feel it in your body? Use Martha Beck’s Body Compass to tune it more deeply than ever.
Our body is like the communication vehicle between our Expansive Mind and our Limited Mind. The more tuned in we get to it the more we surrender to it’s wisdom (and the easier life gets)!
Day 4 Thought Prompt
When you get the feeling that draws you toward a person or activity where do you feel it in your body? Use Martha Beck’s Body Compass to tune it more deeply than ever.
Day 5 Thought Prompt
When you trust your instincts others do/say _______. What is the overall response to you when you “follow your heart/gut?”
No judgement at all. You’re just noticing what the feedback is so you can understand any hidden stories that serve as obstacles to your growth.
A lot of know we are better when we follow our instincts but the people around us want hard, fast reasons that we just don’t have. It’s quite possible to have quite a bit of doubt as a result. We just want to notice if that’s there.
Day 6 Thought Prompt
When you DON’T trust your instincts others do/say _______. What happens when you say, “I don’t like this, but ok….”
Again, we’re not judging anyone. Just noticing.
Day 7 Thought Prompt
When you DO trust your instincts, what does your inner voice say to you?
We’re differentiating slight now. There’s the voice of others nagging at us and then there’s that still, quiet inner voice too. How are they the same, or different?
Day 8 Thought Prompt
When you DON’T trust your instincts, what does your inner voice say to you?
We’re differentiating slight now. There’s the voice of others nagging at us and then there’s that still, quiet inner voice too. How are they the same, or different?
Gathering Portion of the Month
(Days 11-20, minus weekends)
We’re going to anticipate, as much as we can, so we have a plan in place when opportunities to tune in arise.
You’ll also have plenty of practice in other areas.
The idea is to create a habit out of following the guidance of your highest Self. Don’t worry too much about “mistakes.” The more attachment you have to life being comfortable and safe the more “mistakes” you’ll make.
Over time you’ll realize that there really are NO mistakes that sometimes the lessons are found in the uncomfortable circumstances. Acceptance of this fact means you’ll naturally find yourself feeling more comfortable with what IS instead of working against forces you cannot control.
Day 9 Thought Prompt
Reflect on Day 1:
What situations are coming down the pip that match the circumstances where your intuition is strongest?
You won’t be able to see EVERY triggering circumstance but you’ll have some that you know are inevitable. Just take stock for now.
Day 10 Thought Prompt
Reflect on Day 2:
What situations are coming down the pipe that where you know your intuition will be the most reliable?
Again … just grab what you can anticipate.
Day 11 Thought Prompt
Reflect on Day 3:
Do you have any current conditions that spark this same “pulling away” feeling? Or any choices on the table that do the same thing?
Day 12 Thought Prompt
Reflect on Day 4:
Do you have any current conditions that spark this same “move toward” feeling? Or any choices on the table that do the same thing?
Day 13 Thought Prompt
Reflect on Day 5:
How does it feel to hear this feedback when you trust your instincts? Does it embolden or weaken you? Do you believe them? Do you have to use their input?
Day 14 Thought Prompt
Reflect on Day 6:
How does it feel to hear this feedback when you don’t trust your instincts? Does it embolden or weaken you? Do you believe them? Do you have to use their input?
Day 15 Thought Prompt
Reflect on Day 7:
What do you have to embolden your inner voice (if it’s positive) or diminish it (if it’s negative)?
(HINT: Body Compass, ANY of the FAIL to Win tools or any other acquired wisdom)
Day 16 Thought Prompt
Reflect on Day 8:
What tools can you use to come to grace with yourself and let go?
(HINT: February’s forgiveness work, ANY of the tools in Conscious Transitions, the LOVE portion of FAIL to Win or any other acquired wisdom)
Action Portion of the Month
(Days 21-End, minus weekends)
We could just say, “trust surrender,” each and every day couldn’t we?
It’s time to practice doing exactly that.
Day 17 Thought Prompt
Reflect on Day 9:
As these circumstances (where your instincts are the strongest) occur ~ tune in and trust yourself…rather, your Self.
Begin to feel the difference between your Limited Mind “self” and your Expansive Mind “Self.” Throughout the year you’ve learned the tools for this (if you’re new feel free to review at TriffanyHammond.com/PoPJourney) the biggest one being in tune with your Body Compass.
Day 18 Thought Prompt
Reflect on Day 10 when you identified the circumstances that could be expected to arise where your instincts and intuition are strongest and can be trusted.
As these events occur, tune in. How do you feel when you trust your instincts? What stories arise? Where does your confidence (or trepidation) show up in the body?
You’re consciously building a body of proof that you can and should trust your Self.
Day 19 Thought Prompt
Reflect on Day 11 when you were on the lookout for those conditions that made it clear it was time to stop something or walk away. You were asked to find where that feeling rose up in your body.
Make a commitment today to honor that feeling regardless of what you have considered polite or humble. Setting healthy boundaries early and often creates more respect than you’ll ever know until you actually do it.
Day 20 Thought Prompt
Reflect on Day 12 when you were watching for the conditions that support your inner guidance’s direction to move TOWARD something or someone.
Now that you’re tuned into the nuance of your body’s communication system, trust it. Go toward the circumstances that are calling to you.
Day 21 Thought Prompt
Reflect on Day 13 where you were tuning into how others respond to your instincts or your choice to follow them.
Choose which voices to listen to and which voices to quiet. Keep in mind some people have their own agenda, strengths and fears. Be choosey which who get’s a say.
Day 22 Thought Prompt
Reflect on Day 14 when you look at the response from other when you DON’T trust your instincts.
How does it feel to take in their response? What’s perfect about their response and how can you use it to learn and grow your trust?
Day 23 Thought Prompt
Reflect on Day 15 when you were listening to the signs and signals of your inner voice while trusting your instincts.
Is it happy? Excited? Scared? No wrong answer just listening.
Day 24 Thought Prompt
Reflect on Day 15 when you were listening to the signs and signals of your inner voice while trusting your instincts.
Love and listen to your inner voice. When it gets ornery, listen harder. Hear it’s fears and approach it like a child, whispering assurances and making deals if necessary. Your old programs need to know they’ve been heard before they’ll step aside for the new programs.
